Location: Wildrose Training Facility, Oxford, Mississippi
This workshop will focus on the Wildrose methods for advanced retriever handling, both upland and waterfowl, hand signals to blinds. Emphasis will be on developing handlers’ skills for transitional training and hunting situations based on the unique Wildrose training principles. Topics include: handling on water, advanced steadying drills, upland walk ups, lining on multiples, memories (circle) and blinds. A transitional training exercise will be conducted to include all participants. Participants will need a dog that is familiar with hand signals and the participant must have attended the Wildrose Basic Retriever course.
Cost: $500
Includes lunch on the grounds both days for participants. Please add any necessary medical dietary restrictions in the note section of checkout (ie: allergies, intolerances, ect.)

Also, please notify us if you are anticipating bringing any extra guests (for meal purposes). Guests can be added by going to Basic and Advanced Handlers Workshop Guests Meals. You can add multiple if you need to add more than one person as a guest for meals. You may also notify us by email or phone call if you are adding a plus one after signing up for the event, but we ask that you notify us no later than March 6, 2025 (one week prior to the Basic Workshop) of any additional guests.
If you are unable to attend, the payment can be transferred as store credit, but must be before 30 days prior to event.
